Aries Telecasting Pvt Ltd announced Navarasa; the Fashion Extravaganza dated 10th January 2010, in the press meet held at Gokulam Park, Cochin on 18th November, 2009.
The Navarasa proposal was officially launched by the designer, Rehane known for her celebrated diffusion line in Wills Life Style Fashion Week and Lakme Fashion Week, the strongest designer label in Southern India.
The event, Navarasa, the Colour of Emotions already receiving great round of applause from both national and international media follow a unique concept bestowed by the Hollywood movie from the mariners – DAM 999. Navarasa explores the nine emotions, moods and colours in the most contemporary style with a dash of Indian mystique.
DAM 999 is a movie that speaks about the life of nine individuals where each character personifies an emotion. The movie revolves around the life of mariners and an ill built dam. The Director, Mr.Sohan Roy presents the story in the backdrop of these characters who in turn explains the concept of Navarasa.
The Fashion Fiesta brings in the Navarasa Collection by Rehane, Launch of the cast DAM 999, a cultural fest and a Rock Show.
